Role overview
Promote company products to doctors and healthcare providers, develop customer relationships, and achieve sales targets.
Sales and customer engagement
- Prepare professional product presentations and visit doctors through cold calls or scheduled appointments.
- Follow up with healthcare providers about product stock, consumption, and feedback.
- Forecast monthly sales targets and act to meet them.
- Persuade targeted doctors to prescribe products using effective selling skills.
- Contact existing and prospective customers by phone and in person, covering assigned medical centers according to their potential.
- Coordinate regularly with sales and collection teams.
Territory planning and reporting
- Research prospective customers and assess their potential.
- Prepare written proposals and quotations for current and prospective customers.
- Manage customer value plans identifying customer profile, share, and value opportunities against monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
- Organize territory or segment sales strategy to maximize return on time investment.
- Provide management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competition, and potential for new products and services.
Professional development
- Pursue continuous learning and professional development.
- Stay current with medical data and field developments to provide competitive information to customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy.
- One to three years of experience in a similar position.
