Medical Laboratory Technologist sought for a healthcare team in Al Barsha, Dubai.
Full-time role requiring at least two years of hands-on experience in a CAP-accredited laboratory within the UAE and a valid MLT license.
Qualifications and requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent.
- At least two years of UAE experience in a CAP-accredited laboratory.
- Valid UAE MLT license, DHA as required for the facility.
- Strong understanding of CAP accreditation standards and quality systems.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience in Hematology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or Histopathology is preferred.
- Familiarity with LIS and participation in lab audits or inspections are preferred.
Key responsibilities
- Perform clinical laboratory testing in compliance with CAP standards and internal quality protocols.
- Report results accurately, efficiently, and on time.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
- Collect, label, process, and store specimens according to proper procedures.
- Maintain documentation and participate in quality assurance and control activities.
- Follow infection control and safety guidelines.
- Participate in internal and external audits for CAP accreditation.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support patient care.
- Keep updated on relevant medical laboratory technologies and procedures.
Salary and benefits
- Pay is up to AED 4,000 per month, based on qualifications and experience.
- Benefits include health insurance, annual leave as per UAE labor law, and professional development opportunities.
Work location
- Work location is in person in Dubai.
- Applicants must be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work.
