Medical Laboratory Technologist role based in Al Barsha, Dubai.
Full-time position requiring at least two years of hands-on UAE experience in a CAP-accredited laboratory and a valid DHA MLT license.
Responsibilities
- Perform clinical testing to CAP standards and internal quality protocols; report results accurately and promptly.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments; collect, label, process, and store specimens.
- Maintain documentation; participate in quality activities, audits, and CAP accreditation processes.
- Follow infection-control and safety guidelines and collaborate with healthcare professionals.
- Keep up with relevant technologies and procedures in medical laboratory science.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent.
- At least two years of UAE experience in a CAP-accredited laboratory.
- Valid UAE MLT license (DHA, as required for the facility).
- Strong understanding of CAP standards and quality systems; communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred skills
- Experience in hematology, biochemistry, microbiology, or histopathology.
- Familiarity with Laboratory Information Systems and participation in laboratory audits or inspections.
Compensation and benefits
- Pay up to AED 5,000 per month; salary is based on qualifications and experience.
