Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Developing and executing Milaha's online media strategy and compelling content for various online media platforms, including videos, images, and written content. This involves understanding the target audience, brand guidelines, and industry trends to create content that resonates with users.
  • Managing and maintaining social media accounts, including scheduling and publishing posts, monitoring engagement, responding to comments and messages, and analyzing performance metrics.
  • Planning, executing, and optimizing paid advertising campaigns across different platforms (e.g., Facebook Ads, Google Ads). This involves identifying target audiences, setting campaign objectives, creating creative ads, monitoring performance, and making data-driven adjustments.
  • Monitoring and analyzing digital media performance metrics and assist in assessing the effectiveness of paid ads campaigns, identifying trends, and making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Overseeing the development and maintenance of Milaha and its subsidiaries' web presence; ensuring the security and integrity of the website by coordinating the right application of the security measures such as regular updates, backups and protection against hacking attempts.
  • This includes staying updated on the latest security practices and addressing any vulnerabilities promptly with IT and the third-party vendor.
  • Collaborating with the marketing specialists to develop digital media strategies aligned with overall business objectives. This includes identifying target audiences, defining key messages, selecting appropriate platforms, and planning content calendars.
  • Monitoring and managing the online reputation of Milaha brand and its services. This involves tracking mentions, reviews, and comments across various online channels, addressing customer feedback, and maintaining a positive brand image.
  • Keeping up with the latest trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the digital media landscape.
  • Design logo/brand and marketing collaterals;
  • Brainstorm and develop ideas for creative marketing campaign;
  • Develop and create collaterals to promote Milaha brand and its products and services including brochures, customer newsletters, animation videos, ...etc..
  • Help promote uniformity and consistency of brand.
  • Develop and execute brand management plans.
  • Ensure appropriate branding for all events and collateral.
  • Be the brand custodian and responsible for Milaha's brand internally and externally.
  • Enforce brand marketing guidelines in trademarks, logos, and publications.
  • Drive/support growth in brand awareness, recognition and loyalty across business units.
  • Analyze and support both category and cluster marketing plans to align with brand strategy and achieve annual operating plan goals.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

& Professional Qualification

  • Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in relevant field; Digital Media, Communications, Advertising, Marketing, Graphic Design, Computer Science, Multimedia Arts
  • Degree or sub-specialization in digital communications highly preferred

Professional Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in digital media.
  • experience in publishing content on the web
  • experience in creation and production (including filming and editing) of digital media products including video and audio (podcasting)

Geographic Experience

Knowledge of best practices for designing effective, engaging, and persuasive content for social media

Computer Skills

1.

Graphic Design: Proficiency in graphic design software like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva.

2.

Video Editing: Knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or iMovie to edit and enhance videos for social media platforms or other digital channels.

3.

Content Management Systems (CMS): Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress or Drupal to manage and update website content, publish blog posts, and maintain the website's overall structure.

4.

Web Analytics: Proficiency in web analytics tools such as Google Analytics to track website performance, analyse user behaviour, and derive actionable insights for digital marketing strategies.

5.

Email Marketing Tools: Knowledge of email marketing platforms like Mailchimp or HubSpot to create and manage email campaigns, design templates, and analyse email performance metrics.

6.

Advertising Platforms: Familiarity with advertising platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, Meta Business or LinkedIn Ads Manager to create and manage paid advertising campaigns, set targeting parameters, and optimize ad performance.

7.

Basic HTML/CSS: Understanding of HTML and CSS coding languages to customize email templates or troubleshoot newsletters formatting issues.

Language Skills

Business fluent Arabic and English (Reading, Writing, Speaking)

Market/Industry/Functional Knowledge

  • Social Media Management Tools: Familiarity with social media management tools like Hootsuite, to schedule posts, analyze social media metrics, and manage multiple social media accounts efficiently.
  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO): Understanding of SEO principles and techniques to optimize digital content for search engines, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and metadata optimization.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Proficiency in data analysis tools like Microsoft Excel, Power BI or Google Sheets to analyze campaign performance, create reports, and present data-driven insights to stakeholders
