We're Hiring: Mechanical Supervisor - Lifting Equipment & Engine Overhaul
We are seeking an experienced
Mechanical Supervisor
to lead maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, inspection, and overhaul activities for heavy lifting equipment and diesel engines.
Key Responsibilities
- ✅ Supervise maintenance and repair of:
- Mobile Cranes
- Forklifts
- Telehandlers
- Scissor Lifts
• Boom Lifts / Manlifts
✅ Oversee diesel engine overhaul and rebuilding activities
✅ Lead troubleshooting, inspections, and root cause analysis
✅ Ensure compliance with HSE standards and lifting equipment safety regulations
✅ Supervise and mentor mechanics, hydraulic technicians, welders, and electricians
✅ Manage maintenance documentation, reporting, spare parts coordination, and KPI tracking
✅ Coordinate with operations, procurement, OEM representatives, and third-party inspectors
Requirements
- 🔹 Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Heavy Equipment Engineering, or a related field
- 🔹 7-10 years of experience in maintenance and repair of heavy lifting equipment
- 🔹 3-5 years of supervisory experience
- 🔹 Hands-on expertise with:
- Mobile Cranes
- Forklifts
- Telehandlers
• Diesel Engine Overhaul
- 🔹 Strong knowledge of:
- Hydraulic Systems
- Diesel Engines
• Load Handling Equipment
🔹 Ability to read hydraulic and electrical schematics and interpret OEM manuals
Preferred Industry Experience
