Key Responsibilities

• Respond to contractor inspection requests and recommend or take appropriate action; conduct inspections as directed by resident engineering staff.
• Review shop drawings against contract drawings and specifications, checking local statutory requirements and international best practice.
• Report non-compliant contractor work and monitor HSE and environmental issues against specifications and risk assessments.
• Implement site QA/QC procedures; maintain site activity and progress reports; prepare surveillance and non-conformance reports as needed.
• Coordinate across disciplines and provide technical assistance with electrical issues.

Candidate Specification

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an internationally accredited university.
• At least five years of UAE experience and significant mechanical engineering experience.
• Proven experience with all mechanical components is required.
• Able to improve workload and delivery management, build effective working relationships, and lead diverse teams.
