MECHANICAL ENGINEER

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review mechanical documents, reports, specifications, method statements, drawings, layouts, and technical submissions.
• Coordinate with project engineers, site teams, consultants, and clients on technical requirements.
• Review specifications, BOQs, drawings, and contract requirements; assist with material submittals, RFIs, inspections, and reports.
• Perform mechanical calculations and support engineering design activities.
• Maintain drawing, document, revision, and correspondence records.
• Coordinate mechanical materials and equipment with procurement and site teams.
• Check compliance with project specifications and applicable standards; provide project and site-team support.
• Prepare progress reports and other engineering documentation for management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least two years of relevant experience; UAE experience is preferred.
• Plant & SWIFT experience is required.
• Strong mechanical engineering and technical documentation knowledge; proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and other relevant engineering software.
• Experience preparing technical submissions, reports, drawings, and project documentation.
• Good communication and coordination skills; ability to work independently and across departments.
• UAE driving license is an advantage in the requirements list, but a separate license field marks a driving license as required.
• Infrastructure, MEP, utilities, or industrial project experience is preferred.
