Mechanical Site Engineer role for infrastructure, water pipeline, and utility network works in the Northern Emirates.
Candidates with previous FEWA / EtihadWE (EWE) project experience are preferred.
Qualifications and requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and required MOE Equivalency Certificate.
- 3–5 years of relevant UAE experience in mechanical infrastructure and pipeline projects.
- Hands-on water pipeline installation, pipe laying, jointing, hydrostatic testing, flushing, and commissioning experience.
- Experience with DI, HDPE, GRP, and MS pipelines, including fittings, valves, and chambers.
- Knowledge of pipeline routes, trenching, bedding, backfilling, approved drawings, method statements, and site execution.
- Ability to supervise installation and coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams.
- Experience preparing material submittals, inspection requests, daily progress reports, and project documentation.
- Knowledge of HSE requirements, QA/QC procedures, and relevant authority standards.
- FEWA / EtihadWE (EWE) project experience is highly preferred; a valid UAE Driving Licence and immediate or short-notice availability are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Supervise pipeline installation and site execution, including pipe laying, jointing, testing, flushing, and commissioning.
- Coordinate work with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams.
- Prepare material submittals, inspection requests, progress reports, and project documentation.
- Ensure work follows approved drawings, method statements, HSE requirements, QA/QC procedures, and relevant authority standards.
