Role overview
Execute and supervise electrical distribution and underground cable works for FEWA/EtihadWE projects in line with approved drawings and specifications.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise underground 11kV/LV cable laying, pulling, jointing, and termination.
- Coordinate testing, commissioning, and energization.
- Coordinate with FEWA/EtihadWE engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams.
- Prepare inspections, permits, material requests, and progress reports; monitor manpower, materials, and site activities.
- Ensure quality, HSE compliance, and timely delivery; coordinate cable routes, trenching, and civil interfaces.
- Resolve site technical issues and manage documentation and handover.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and MOE Equivalency Certificate required.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant UAE electrical utility or infrastructure project experience.
- Hands-on 11kV underground cable works experience required.
- 33kV experience, FEWA/EtihadWE project experience, UAE driving licence, and Northern Emirates experience are preferred.
