Prepare meat products for customer purchase and displays while providing friendly, professional service.
Contribute to an engaging environment for employees and customers.
Key responsibilities
- Provide customer service to meet customer needs.
- Prepare meat products and merchandise the meat area when applicable.
- Maintain the meat department and receive meat orders.
- Complete special-order meat product requests.
- Meet company meat standards and Canadian Food Inspection Agency regulations.
- Follow applicable company standards and perform administrative duties as required.
- Participate in professional development and train new staff and clerks.
- Assist the Meat Manager or second meat clerk when applicable.
What you bring
- Full knowledge of department operations and skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma.
- At least 12 months of experience.
