Material Handler - Richfield - 1st Shift (7:00am - 3:30pm)

This position requires a self-motivated, reliable employee to join our Shipping Receiving Department.

This position reports to the production supervisor, supporting the company’s production facility with the responsibilities that are included below.

• Receives, distributes, and stores products as directed in designated, secure locations.
• Verify, identify and inspect incoming materials, supplies, and finished goods from operations to ensure that specifications are met, including documentation accuracy.
• Load materials and products into inventory system; monitors First In – First Out inventory transactions.
• Confirms shipping details or special instructions; expedites shipments that affect the manufacturing process schedule.
• Responsible for quality control – no product damaged
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Transports and loads materials, supplies, and finished goods (manually and/or using hand trucks and skids) with forklift.
• Comply with GMP, personal hygiene, HACCP and other quality and safety programs.
• Collects and properly disposes of scrap bracing, cardboard, and strapping; maintains a safe and clean work environment.
• Performs other related duties as assigned

· Excellent verbal communication skills, organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Good math skills required

· Flexibility to work on a variety of tasks as needed with efficient time management skills.

· Physical requirements include lifting, carrying and climbing up to 60 lbs. consistently.

· Other requirements are bending, standing, walking, sitting and climbing frequently.
