Role overview
Masons are sought for facilities maintenance work in high-rise buildings and villas.
Responsibilities
- Repair cracks and damaged bricks, plaster, and block walls.
- Carry out plaster repairs and prepare surfaces for painting.
- Repair damaged floor and wall tiles and replace broken tiles.
- Repair minor masonry-related water leaks, damaged grout, and sealant around tiled areas.
- Inspect masonry defects, report major issues, use tools safely, and keep work areas clean.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in building maintenance, masonry, and repair work.
- Knowledge of plastering, bricklaying, blockwork, tiling, grouting, and cement mixing.
- Ability to use masonry tools and maintenance equipment properly.
- Knowledge of workplace safety procedures, PPE, and safe handling of construction materials.
- Basic education or a relevant vocational certificate is preferred.
