Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Related technical or trades certification in masonry or civil construction
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a mason or civil technician, preferably in the hospitality industry or engineering environment
- Proficiency in all aspects of masonry refurbishment and maintenance work
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret shop drawings and technical specifications
- Competency in using general repair tools and equipment safely and effectively
- Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and health and safety practices
- Ability to estimate required materials and quantities accurately
- Basic knowledge of additional building operations skill sets beyond masonry
- Experience working in luxury hospitality or high-end facility management environments
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and civil works management
- Certification in occupational health and safety
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members
- Creative, practical, and proactive approach to problem-solving
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Physical fitness and capability to work at heights and in various environmental conditions
- Resilient and adaptable mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities
