Job purpose
Perform skilled masonry work on the employer's and third-party properties, providing timely, quality service.
Build, alter, and repair brick, stone, tile, and ceramic structures and surfaces.
Masonry and operations
- Install, repair, maintain, and alter walls and other brick or stone structures.
- Install ceramic tiles and marble structures; mix mortar, cement, and plaster as needed.
- Repair steps and stairs and plaster ceilings and walls as needed.
- Maintain tools and equipment, check that work-location components are operational, provide estimates, and follow the supervisor's schedule.
Safety and teamwork
- Perform repairs and maintenance in compliance with HSE policies and procedures, and encourage colleagues to do the same.
- Help other technicians and handle additional tasks requested by the supervisor.
Qualifications and experience
- Secondary school education certificate required.
- At least two years of experience as a Mason required.
- Acceptable spoken and written English required.
- Vocational training and/or a trade test from a certified institute is preferred.
- Experience in repair and maintenance work is preferred.
Pay
- Pay is AED 1.00–AED 2.00 per month.
Work location
- Work is in person.
