About This Role
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mason to join our construction team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have experience in building and repairing structures using bricks, stones, concrete blocks, and other masonry materials. The Mason will ensure high-quality workmanship while adhering to safety standards and project deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and lay bricks, blocks, stones, or other materials to build walls, partitions, arches, chimneys, and other structures.
- Mix and apply mortar, concrete, and other adhesives according to specifications.
- Cut, shape, and smooth materials as required using hand and power tools.
- Repair and maintain existing masonry work when needed.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and project standards.
- Collaborate with construction team members to complete projects on time.
- Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition.
- Report progress and any issues to the Site Supervisor or Project Manager.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Mason or in a similar role in the construction industry.
- Knowledge of masonry techniques, materials, and tools.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform heavy manual work.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Understanding of workplace safety procedures and PPE use.
