The Marketing Manager Exhibitions is responsible for planning, developing, and executing integrated marketing strategies to drive attendance, exhibitor acquisition, and brand visibility for exhibitions and trade shows.
The role requires a strong understanding of B2B event marketing, audience segmentation, digital campaigns, and stakeholder management to deliver measurable results and maximize event revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Marketing:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans aligned with event objectives.
- Define target audiences including visitors, exhibitors, and partners.
- Position the exhibition effectively within the market to achieve attendance and revenue targets.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and audience insights to refine strategies.
- Campaign Management:
- Plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns (digital, email, social media, PR, content marketing, and paid advertising).
- Oversee campaign timelines, budgets, and performance tracking.
- Collaborate with sales teams to support exhibitor acquisition campaigns.
- Digital Marketing:
- Manage website content, SEO, and landing pages to optimize lead generation.
- Oversee CRM/email marketing campaigns and automation workflows.
- Work with paid media agencies to run PPC, social ads, and retargeting campaigns.
- Monitor analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to track performance and optimize ROI.
• Content & Creative
Develop compelling marketing content including brochures, emails, social posts, press releases, and promotional materials.
Ensure brand consistency across all communication channels.
Coordinate with designers, copywriters, and agencies for campaign assets.
• Partnerships & PR
- Build relationships with media partners, associations, and industry stakeholders.
- Manage PR campaigns, press releases, and media outreach to increase visibility.
- Secure promotional partnerships and cross-marketing opportunities.
- Event Promotion:
- Drive visitor registration and exhibitor participation through targeted campaigns.
- Manage promotional calendars and campaign rollouts pre-, during, and post-event.
- Support on-site marketing activities and event execution when required.
• Budget & Reporting
Manage marketing budgets efficiently and ensure cost-effective campaign execution.
Track KPIs such as registrations, leads, conversion rates, and ROI.
Provide regular reports and insights to senior management.
