Job Description
Lead the regional marketing function to drive bookings, sales growth, and profitability for the business.
Develop and execute strategic business plans and marketing programs to expand market presence, increase share and mindshare, and support priority growth segments across the MEA region.
Partner closely with Sales, regional leadership, and global headquarters to ensure alignment on portfolio messaging, technology positioning, and go-to-market strategies.
Enable sales effectiveness through strong planning cadence, KPI tracking, digital marketing initiatives, sales enablement tools, and readily available marketing materials.
Act as the primary regional voice to global business units, providing market insights and feedback to support marketing, communications, and product development while ensuring alignment with global strategy.
Factor I: Accountability
- Lead marketing function in the region to achieve/exceed bookings, sales and profit target for the business.
- Develop and execute strategic business plans & programs to grow Emerson SYSS business in the region. Assist Business VP in preparing for VCC, Profit Review, Strategic Planning and other business meetings with senior executives.
- Ensure a good cadence of regional review/planning so that plans are communicated, KPI are measured, and programs tractions are maintained.
- Build and enhance market presence and recognition of Emerson and its System/Software Technology, Solution and Capabilities. Increase the market share and mindshare by implementing effective marketing, communication and customer engagement programs. Work with Sales to prioritize accounts and programs in countries across MEA.
- Work closely with US head offices to ensure messaging and positioning alignment of portfolio and technology.
- Ensure easy availability of information and material to support sales activities. Work with Sales to upskill the Sales team to move into mobile tools, sales portal collaboration and digital marketing.
- Maintain good understanding of the Technology portfolio. Support the TSCs, SMEs and Engineering and associated equipment for sales activities in regions.
- Be mindful of strategic/profitable/growing segments of the business. Ensure that these segments are well covered with sales support resources, customer engagement events, channel development programs.
- Define an effective Digital Marketing Strategy for SYSS MEA in order to get the best ROI with limited resources.
- Be the proactive MEA input/feedback channel to BU HQ (Austin/Pittsburgh) esp in Marketing, Communications and Product Development. Maintain close link with BU Marketing HQ to ensure alignment with global direction.
- Adhere to Health, Safety & Environment policies as laid by the organization.

For This Role, You Will Need
- Marketing Degree or Marketing Qualification
- Experience of Technical B2B Marketing Preferred
- Experience in Strategy Development and Support
- MBA or/ Engineering degree preferred but not necessary
