About Zenter Parts & Lucas

Zenter Parts is building a high-performance aftermarket offering around the Lucas brand. This role sits at the technical core of our business and will drive the end-to-end success of our most complex product families—ensuring the right products , from the right suppliers , with the right stock levels , supporting our growth strategy across Africa and other target markets .

Responsibilities

  • Build the business from the ground up within the automotive aftermarket sector, with a strong field presence and a clear focus on results;
  • Actively prospect and develop business across workshops, retailers, wholesalers, taxi channels, battery outlets, and other relevant aftermarket channels;
  • Identify real market opportunities, customer needs, product references, volumes, pricing levels, and supply gaps;
  • Convert commercial activity into orders, purchase commitments, and a credible sales pipeline;
  • Support the definition of the initial stock build and replenishment logic based on real market feedback;
  • Monitor competitor positioning, pricing trends, and customer behaviour across different channels;
  • Ensure regular and structured reporting on sales activity, customer visits, opportunities, and market evolution;
  • Contribute actively to building the route-to-market strategy and the sustainable growth of the business.

Profile

  • Solid and proven experience in the automotive aftermarket spare parts industry, namely batteries, components, workshop supplies, or similar product categories;
  • Strong understanding of the aftermarket environment, distribution channels, and customer behaviour;
  • Hunter / market builder mindset, with a strong ability to open new markets and close business;
  • Highly performance-driven, commercially ambitious, and motivated by variable earnings;
  • Strong negotiation skills, resilience, autonomy, and a practical hands-on approach;
  • Field-oriented profile, with availability for frequent travel and intensive market activity;
  • Ability to work independently, move quickly, and maintain a strong conversion focus;
  • Availability to operate through their own registered company under a service agreement model;
