Role overview

Provide Level 2 technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for database systems and data loader processes on the Database, Data Analytics and Process Control L2 team.

Support end users and reliable data integration in an automated manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve database and data integration challenges for end users.
  • Maintain database systems and data loader processes to keep data operations running smoothly.
  • Support monitoring and alerting and resolve technical issues in a mission-critical support environment.

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information technology, information systems, computer engineering, or a related STEM field.
  • At least 6 months of scripting experience, including SQL, Python, or PowerShell.
  • At least 6 months of experience with IT technologies such as Windows Server, ServiceNow, ITIL, iCloud, or VMware.
  • At least 1 year of relational database technology and database engineering or administration support experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience with automated monitoring and alerting systems.

Preferred qualifications

  • SQL query writing and optimization and experience with SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL are preferred.
  • Database concepts, backup and recovery, monitoring tools, and performance metrics familiarity are preferred.
  • Agile framework and ITIL/incident management familiarity is preferred.

Schedule

  • Shift 7 is a 12-hour day shift, Thursday through Saturday and every other Wednesday.
  • The role requires following procedures and working in a 24x7 support environment.
