Role Description
The Manufacturing Manager will oversee daily laundry production operations in an on-site facility located in Dubai.
This part-time role involves planning and managing production schedules, coordinating workflow across washing, drying, ironing, and packaging areas, and ensuring that service timelines are met.
The Manufacturing Manager will monitor and improve quality control processes, optimize resource usage, and maintain compliance with safety, hygiene, and equipment maintenance standards.
The role will collaborate with operations and floor staff to troubleshoot issues, implement process improvements, and track key performance indicators related to productivity and quality.
The Manufacturing Manager will also support training, standard operating procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with business goals.
Qualifications
- Strong Production Planning and Production Management skills to manage daily volumes, prioritize orders, and allocate resources effectively.
- Experience in Manufacturing Operations and Operations Management to oversee end-to-end workflow, staffing, and equipment utilization.
- Proficiency in Quality Control practices to maintain service standards, reduce rework, and ensure consistent garment care results.
- Background in industrial laundry, textiles, FMCG, or similar manufacturing environments is highly beneficial.
- Ability to analyze data, use basic productivity and reporting tools, and drive process improvements.
- Solid leadership, team coordination, and communication skills, with the ability to work on-site in Dubai during part-time shifts.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Operations, Industrial Engineering, Production, or a related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
