Role Description
The Operational Excellence Manager is a part-time, on-site role based in Abu Dhabi, responsible for driving continuous improvement across laundry operations.
This role involves analyzing existing workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing standardized processes to enhance quality, speed, and cost-effectiveness.
The manager will collaborate with store teams and leadership to design and execute improvement projects, monitor key performance indicators, and ensure adherence to best practices.
Daily responsibilities include conducting process audits, training staff on new procedures, tracking operational metrics, and coordinating cross-functional initiatives to improve throughput and customer experience.
The role also requires preparing reports, recommending corrective actions, and supporting change management to sustain improvements.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Operational Excellence and Business Process Improvement, with a track record of implementing practical, measurable changes.
- Proven Operations Management experience, ideally within service, retail, or facility-based environments.
- Solid Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify root causes, and develop data-driven action plans.
- Project Management capabilities to plan, prioritize, and deliver improvement initiatives on time and within scope.
- Clear and concise communication skills, with the ability to train and influence diverse on-site teams.
- Ability to work part-time on-site in Abu Dhabi, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience with lean methodologies, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement frameworks is an advantage.
