Role overview

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of six specialists.
• Manage collateral operations, margin calls, disputes and collateral movements; oversee futures processing and brokerage payments.
• Ensure accurate daily reconciliations and prompt investigation and resolution of exceptions.
• Monitor operational risks, identify control gaps, drive remediation and escalate incidents appropriately.
• Build relationships with Front Office, Trading, Sales, Treasury, Risk, Finance, Technology and external counterparties.
• Drive process improvement and provide management reporting and performance updates.
• Support new products, system enhancements and regulatory change initiatives.

What the role requires

• Experience in Financial Markets, Market Operations, Trade Support, Middle Office or Treasury Operations.
• Strong knowledge of collateral management, futures operations, brokerage processing and reconciliations.
• People leadership experience covering coaching, performance management and team development.
• Strong risk and controls mindset, stakeholder skills, analytical ability and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with derivatives, fixed income, FX or other markets products; operational change; or market infrastructure is advantageous.

Work arrangement

• The bank supports flexibility in where work is done, with at least half of each month spent connecting in the office.
