Role overview
Lead medium- to large-scale talent technology transformation projects, combining functional consulting, project management, solution design, stakeholder management, and implementation expertise.
The role focuses on end-to-end delivery of talent acquisition and workforce technology solutions that improve hiring efficiency and user adoption.
Technology consulting and delivery
- Lead implementation and optimisation projects across ATS, CRM, VMS, and talent technology platforms.
- Run discovery sessions and stakeholder workshops; gather business and technical requirements and translate them into functional designs.
- Configure systems, support integrations, manage testing, oversee go-live, and promote implementation best practices.
Project and programme management
- Manage workstreams, plans, timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies, and resource allocation across multiple projects.
- Develop sprint, testing, cutover, training, and deployment plans; monitor delivery and resolve issues against scope and timelines.
- Support project governance, reporting, change management, and continuous improvement.
Client and team leadership
- Advise clients and senior stakeholders with recommendations, risk mitigation, implementation roadmaps, and platform expertise.
- Collaborate with business leaders, HR and technical teams, vendors, and implementation partners to align stakeholders.
- Coach and mentor team members, lead knowledge transfer and user adoption, and support team capability building and onboarding.
Platform expertise
- Maintain expertise in talent acquisition and workforce technology and stay informed about vendor roadmaps, emerging technologies, and industry practices.
- Help clients optimise platforms and define future-state technology strategies.
Required experience and skills
- Proven experience in functional consulting, technology consulting, or talent technology implementation.
- Experience leading end-to-end implementations from discovery through post-production support and managing business and technical stakeholders.
- Experience gathering requirements, facilitating workshops, and translating needs into functional solutions.
- Hands-on solution design, system configuration, UAT and testing, deployment and go-live, change management, training, and adoption experience.
- Strong project management experience across medium- to large-scale transformation programmes and multiple concurrent projects.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, consulting, influencing, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience mentoring, coaching, or leading project resources.
Preferred skills
- Experience with one or more of Avature, SmartRecruiters, Cornerstone, TalentLink, Phenom, Paradox, Greenhouse, or Eightfold AI is preferred.
- Talent technology transformation or optimisation, ATS/CRM/VMS integrations, and Agile, Scrum, or project management methodologies are preferred.
- Project management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile are preferred.
