Manager, RF & Antenna Systems

Position overview

System development and delivery

• Lead advanced system-level product development, define architectures and technical requirements, and drive CRPA, anti-jam, and resilient PNT innovation.
• Plan and execute system-development projects, manage technical risks and integration, and ensure verification and validation.
• Lead trade studies and architecture decisions, direct integration, and ensure subsystem performance meets system objectives.
• Support customer technical discussions and define mission-focused system solutions; assist business-development and capture activities.
• Coordinate hardware, firmware, software, RF, and signal-processing work across research, product-development, and core-engineering teams.

Cross-functional collaboration

• Evaluate and transition advanced technologies into system architectures; support demonstrations and capability assessments.
• Coordinate product strategies, reuse platforms when practical, and share antenna technologies, RF designs, and GNSS expertise.
• Ensure systems are manufacturable and supportable; support design-for-manufacturing, production readiness, ramp-up, and resolution of field issues.
• Use mechanical, PCB, testing, and environmental-qualification services; coordinate validation and specialized test infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field; a bachelor’s degree with significant relevant industry experience will also be considered.
• 10+ years in RF systems, GNSS systems, or embedded system development.
• Experience leading complex multidisciplinary projects and experience with aerospace, defense, or navigation systems.
• Technical skills in GNSS and Alternative PNT, CRPA and anti-jamming technologies, systems engineering methodologies, signal-processing fundamentals, and system integration and testing.
• Ability to work on-site in Ottawa, Ontario, and eligibility to obtain Controlled Goods clearance.
• Experience with GNSS, CRPA, anti-jam, smart antenna, or Alternative PNT technologies is considered an asset; mission-critical, navigation, and antenna systems experience is highly desirable.

Compensation

• Posted compensation range is $150,000–$190,000; no pay cadence is specified.
