Job Purpose/Summary
The Manager – Quality & Safety Management Systems (QSMS) supports the Head – QSMS in ensuring the effective implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Sanad Capital’s Quality and Safety Management Systems in compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.
The role is responsible for managing day-to-day quality, safety, and risk operations — including audits, investigations, corrective actions, safety reporting, and certification maintenance.
The Manager acts as the operational focal point for QSMS activities, leading and mentoring specialists, coordinating with regulators and internal departments, and ensuring that Sanad Capital maintains its commitment to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
Quality and Safety System Implementation
- Implement, monitor, and continuously improve the QMS and SMS in alignment with company standards, aviation regulations, and customer requirements.
- Conduct internal audits, safety inspections, and compliance checks to ensure operational integrity.
- Track nonconformities, safety reports, and findings; ensure timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Maintain up-to-date versions of manuals, procedures, and forms related to QSMS.
Risk and Compliance Management
- Support the development and maintenance of the corporate Risk Register, ensuring identification, assessment, and mitigation of operational and safety risks.
- Monitor regulatory changes and ensure Sanad Capital’s QSMS processes remain compliant.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure adherence to standards (e.g., ISO, ASA100) and participate in external and customer audits.
- Escalate significant risks and safety issues to the Head – QSMS.
Audit and Certification Oversight
- Plan and conduct internal audits in accordance with the annual audit schedule.
- Support preparation and facilitation of external audits by regulatory authorities and certification bodies.
- Follow up on audit outcomes, ensuring all corrective actions are closed within agreed timelines.
- Maintain documentation and evidence of compliance for certification retention and renewal.
Continuous Improvement and Training
- Identify process improvement opportunities and implement efficiency initiatives across QSMS functions.
- Support LEAN or Six Sigma projects related to quality or safety performance.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on safety, quality, and risk awareness topics.
- Foster a proactive safety and quality culture across Sanad Capital.
Reporting and Data Analysis
- Develop and maintain dashboards and KPIs for quality, safety, and risk performance.
- Analyze QSMS data trends and prepare reports for management review meetings.
- Recommend preventive measures and corrective action plans based on data-driven analysis.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Act as focal point for QSMS communication with internal teams, external auditors, and regulatory authorities.
- Support coordination between Sanad Capital and Group entities (e.g., Sanad Aerotech, Mubadala) to ensure alignment of safety and quality initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES Minimum Qualifications

1.
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Aviation, Quality Management, or a related field.
2.
Certification or training in Quality Auditing (ISO 9001 Lead Auditor) or Safety Management Systems (SMS) is required.
3.
Additional training in Risk Management, HSE, or Continuous Improvement (LEAN / Six Sigma) is preferred.
Minimum Experience
1. 8–10 years of progressive experience in quality, safety, or compliance management within aviation, MRO, or a regulated technical industry.
2.
At least 3–5 years in a supervisory or team leadership role.
3.
Demonstrated experience with audits, incident investigations, root cause analysis, and risk management processes.
4.
Strong knowledge of aviation regulatory frameworks, ISO/ASA100 standards, and quality/safety systems integration.

Executes and monitors QMS and SMS activities to ensure continuous compliance with regulatory and customer standards.
2.Audit and Certification Coordination
Plans and conducts internal audits, supports external audit preparations, and ensures timely closure of findings to maintain certifications.
3.Risk and Compliance Control
Identifies and mitigates safety and operational risks through systematic risk management and compliance monitoring.
4.Continuous Improvement and Data Analysis
Analyzes performance data, identifies process gaps, and implements quality and safety improvements using structured methodologies.
5.Technical and Regulatory Awareness
Maintains updated knowledge of aviation safety, maintenance regulations, and quality standards to ensure Sanad Capital’s operational excellence.
6.Leadership and Mentorship
Provides direction, guidance, and coaching to Specialists and team members, promoting accountability, development, and collaboration.
7.Communication and Stakeholder Engagement
Interfaces effectively with regulators, auditors, and internal stakeholders to maintain transparency, alignment, and proactive issue resolution.
