Job-specific accountabilities

• Develops employee communications strategies tied to KPIs, consistent messaging, employee behavior, and two-way communication.
• Measures communication strategies and tactics using qualitative and quantitative methods.
• Advises and coaches business partners, leaders, and management on communications plans supporting business objectives.
• Supports Group CEO positioning and plans CEO communications and engagements.
• Oversees employee channels, programs, and activities for consistent, timely, transparent communication.
• Supports intranet structure, content, and processes and tracks usage and feedback.
• Supports development and upskilling of the internal communications team and practitioner network.
• Develops and executes communications for strategic change initiatives.
• Builds trusted relationships with business and corporate leaders and internal clients.
• Supports timely, accurate functional reporting and performs other assigned duties.

Minimum requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, or a related field.
• 10 years of progressive, senior-level corporate communications experience; at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Large-scale, complex multi-sector organization experience or experience across various industries is preferred.
• Understands the strategic role of internal communications in transformational change and business outcomes.
• Strong communication and influencing knowledge and ability to work across functions and organizational levels.
• Strong knowledge of internal communications and employee engagement processes, tools, and practices.
• Can analyze employee engagement and communications metrics, identify root causes, and develop plans.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
