Position Title Manager - Design & Engineering Position Summary The TL Design Engineer – PLS-CADD leads tower profiling and line optimization within Design & Engineering, using PLS-CADD for tower spotting, preparation of plan and profile drawings, and right-of-way requirements for transmission lines. The role coordinates projects end to end with multi-disciplinary teams and drive adoption of new design technologies. Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities Design transmission lines in PLS-CADD (tower spotting, conductor sag, right-of-way, plan and profile drawings) to deliver optimized transmission line design. Coordinate projects from inception to completion, including site visits and timely resolution of site challenges. Work with project, planning, survey and other teams to keep design input and changes aligned. Track technology trends and adopt practices that improve design optimization. Critical Success Factors - Essential Hands-on experience in PLS-CADD (tower spotting, sag-tension, plan and profile drawings) Knowledge of transmission line design for relevant kV ranges and applicable standards (IS, IEC, CBIP, CEA) Ability to coordinate with project, planning and survey teams and travel to sites as required Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD Critical Success Factors - Desirable Working knowledge of PLS-TOWER and PLS-POLE Exposure to GIS, LiDAR and topographic survey data Experience in a developer or EPC environment, including RFP and tender support Exposure to design automation tools or emerging line design technologies About Us Resonia, formerly Sterlite Power, is a leading private sector power transmission infrastructure developer and solutions provider with a robust portfolio of 30 completed & flipped and under-construction projects, we’re building approximately 14,602 circuit Kms of transmission lines across India and Brazil.
