Position Title Chief Manager - NPD (Cable Division)

This position is responsible for new and existing HV/EHV cable product development and is responsible for providing process support to solve material and design related issues. Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities Preparing Technical Particulars / Design Datasheets & Cross-sectional drawings for EHV, HV, MV XLPE, Solar, MVCC Cables as per Indian & International standards Preparing manufacturing guidelines for plant production team Knowledge of Indian Standards (IS) & International Standards (IEC, BS, AS/NZS, UL etc) Raw material estimation (Bill of material) calculation for cable costing Calculations of all Electrical parameters applicable for HV/EHV cable Calculation of accessories for EHV cable turnkey projects along with cable system design Ability to design new products Knowledge about Raw materials of HV/EHV cable Knowledge about HV/EHV cable testing Familiar with SAP/AutoCAD / CYMCAP Critical Success Factors - Essential Professional with over 5+ years Bachelor’s in engineering with Minimum 5 years’ experience in HV/EHV cable design Competencies Behavioural - Achievement Orientation Behavioural - Information Seeking Behavioural - Initiative Behavioural - Innovative Thinking Functional - Financial Functional - Operational Functional - People Functional - Strategic About Us Sterlite Electric Limited (formerly known as Sterlite Power Transmission Limited) is a manufacturer of capital goods and a provider of system integration solutions, specializing in the power transmission and distribution (Power T&D) industry for both domestic and international markets. Sterlite Electric is also in the process of setting up a new power cable manufacturing facility in Vadodara (Gujarat)
