In this role, your key responsibilities include

:

1. Card Portfolio Analytics

  • Lead analytics for credit and debit card portfolios, including spend analysis, customer segmentation, product performance, and lifecycle management.
  • Develop and monitor KPIs specific to card portfolio growth, activation, usage, attrition, and profitability.
  • Analyze transaction data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks in card usage and customer behavior.
  • Support product development and pricing strategies with data-driven insights.
  • Collaborate with risk, product, and marketing teams to optimize cardholder engagement and retention.

2. Campaign Management (Cards)

  • Design, execute, and evaluate targeted campaigns for card acquisition, activation, usage, and cross-sell/up-sell.
  • Work closely with marketing to ensure campaigns are tailored to cardholder segments and deliver measurable ROI.
  • Track and report campaign effectiveness, including response rates, incremental spend, and revenue impact for card products.

3. MIS & Reporting (Cards)

  • Build and maintain dashboards and regular reports focused on card portfolio metrics.
  • Provide actionable insights to senior management on card business performance.
  • Work with stakeholders to identify/determine functional report requirements, write functional specifications, develop, customize, and test reports, scorecards, and dashboards.

4. Performance Management

  • Collaborate on the design of information technology infrastructure to support card portfolio performance and quality improvement programmes aligned to strategic priorities.
  • Evaluate and recommend incentive schemes for front-line channels and simulate incentive changes to optimize cost/income ratios.

5. People Management

  • Manage self and team in line with ADCB’s people management policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Organize and supervise the activities and work of the team to ensure that targets and objectives are achieved and the business plan is delivered.

6. Policies, Processes, and Continuous Improvement

  • Implement approved departmental policies, processes, and procedures, ensuring adherence and continuous improvement.
  • Motivate the team to contribute to change initiatives and projects in line with the Bank’s standards.

7. Customer Service

  • Demonstrate ADCB’s Promise and Service Standards in all internal and external customer interactions.
  • The ideal candidate should have the following experience
  • At least 6 years of experience in banking analytics, with a strong focus on credit and debit card portfolio management.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Deep understanding of card business, including product features, regulatory requirements, and market trends.
  • Experience with card transaction data, campaign analytics, and customer segmentation.
  • Proficiency in SQL, data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), and advanced Excel.
  • Knowledge of statistics and logical data interpretation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
