The Business Development Manager sells IT, cybersecurity, and business excellence examination and personnel certification products.
The role includes onboarding business partners and developing customized, industry-specific qualification programs.
Responsibilities
- Identify and approach prospective clients in the assigned region and promote certification solutions.
- Build relationships with stakeholders and customer groups; acquire partners for customized qualification and product programs.
- Develop sales strategies, meet targets, and grow revenue; research leads, opportunities, and sectors.
- Lead go-to-market strategy, negotiations, contract finalization, and deal closure.
- Report sales performance, pipeline, forecasts, and outcomes; monitor market and competitor trends.
Qualifications and skills
- Any graduate or postgraduate qualification; knowledge of IT programs preferred.
- Strong network among IT training companies, EdTech, corporate training, and B2B enterprise clients.
- Sales drive, customer commitment, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Access, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge or training in ISO standards, IT certifications, or professional certification schemes is advantageous.
