Tasks and responsibilities
- Coordinate vendor and local inspection work orders across multiple projects, including more than 50 active orders concurrently.
- Coordinate inspections across global regions with manufacturers, inspection agencies, and clients.
- Ensure inspection activities comply with approved documents and contractual obligations.
- Review inspection reports for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with approved ITPs, codes, standards, and client requirements.
- Ensure inspection documentation is corrected, approved, and transmitted to the client promptly.
- Use careful coordination and attention to detail to prevent non-conformities, commercial disputes, and client complaints.
- Maintain professional communication with clients, vendors, and internal teams to support project continuity and protect technical and commercial interests.
Experience and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least five years of proven experience.
- Experience in vendor and local inspection coordination, manufacturing inspection, expediting, and site inspection coordination for Oil and Gas, petrochemical, and energy projects.
- Experience coordinating inspections across global regions with manufacturers, inspection agencies, and clients.
- Familiarity with pressure vessels, piping, valves, tanks, structural steel, FAT, SAT, and pre-shipment inspections.
- Understanding of contract scope, Inspection & Test Plans, Quality Plans, and Purchase Order requirements.
- Excellent English communication skills across listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
- Computer literacy with MS Office, reporting systems, and document control platforms.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage tight schedules, and support fast-track projects.
- Coordination, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills for technical and operational challenges.
