Maintenance Technician

Role Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Operational & efficiency
• · Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and machinery.
• · Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• · Inspect equipment regularly to identify potential problems before they cause downtime.
• · Perform lubrication, adjustments, replacements, and routine servicing.
• · Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and restore equipment to operational conditions.
• · Maintain and repair concrete production equipment, mixers, pumps, conveyors, vibrators, forklifts, cranes, compressors, and other plant equipment.
• · Perform basic welding and fabrication as needed for equipment repairs and modifications.
• · Maintain and repair molds, tools, fixtures, guards, and other production-related equipment.
• · Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
• · Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, parts used, and equipment issues.
• · Maintain an inventory of critical spare parts and maintenance supplies.
• · Work closely with the Production and Operations teams to minimize interruptions to the production schedule.
• · Identify recurring equipment problems and participate in root-cause analysis to prevent repeat failures.
• · Assist with equipment installation, commissioning, modifications, and improvements.
• · Keep the maintenance area, tools, and equipment organized and in good working condition.
• Facility & Workflow
• · Ensure daily housekeeping priorities are met to maintain a safe and organized facility.
• · Coordinate manufacturing floor mold organization, mapping out processes for optimal mold utilization.

Key Results

Qualifications

• · High school diploma or GED required.
• · 2+ years of experience in industrial, manufacturing, or plant maintenance preferred.
• · Mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting experience.
• · Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance.
• · Basic welding and fabrication skills.
• · Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and equipment manuals.
• · Experience operating and maintaining industrial tools and equipment.
• · Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and general industrial safety practices.
• · Ability to use basic diagnostic tools, hand tools, and power tools.
• · Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and respond to equipment breakdowns.
• · Ability to safely lift, carry, and handle maintenance tools and equipment.
• · Strong communication and teamwork skills.
