Forklift Operator II (Yard Operator)

The Yard Operator will independently operate standard forklifts to transport mid-size precast elements, load/unload trailers, and maintain safe, organized yard operations.

This role is essential in supporting production, shipping, and logistics.

• Operate forklifts up to ~30,000 lbs. safely and effectively.
• Move precast products to proper staging areas.
• Load/unload trailers following safety and weight protocols.
• Follow Locke’s SOPs for handling precast elements.
• Assist with wheel loader, excavator, and skid steer operations.
• Support yard efficiency and workflow.

• 6 months–2 years forklift/yard experience.
• Forklift certification and site-specific training.
• Familiarity with precast handling SOPs.
• Basic rigging knowledge.
