Role Description
The Maintenance Reliability Manager is a part-time, on-site role based in Dubai.
This role is responsible for developing and implementing reliability strategies to ensure the optimal performance and availability of facility assets and equipment.
The manager will monitor equipment condition, analyze failure trends, and coordinate preventive and predictive maintenance plans with internal teams and external service providers.
Daily tasks include reviewing maintenance work orders, setting reliability KPIs, validating maintenance standards, and identifying opportunities to improve asset lifecycle and reduce downtime.
The role also involves collaborating with operations, safety, and procurement teams to ensure compliance with relevant regulations, manage spare parts strategies, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in maintenance reliability, asset management, or facilities management, preferably in a complex or highly regulated environment.
- Strong skills in reliability analysis, root cause failure analysis (RCFA), and use of maintenance methodologies such as TPM, RCM, or preventive and predictive maintenance.
- Proficiency in using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) or EAM solutions, and the ability to interpret technical documentation and equipment manuals.
- Solid understanding of safety, quality, and compliance standards related to facility operations and maintenance.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, industrial) or a related technical field; relevant professional certifications in maintenance or reliability are an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a part-time capacity.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate with technicians, contractors, and management in a multicultural environment.
- Ability to work on-site in Dubai and adapt to evolving operational needs and project requirements.
