Maintenance Procurement Manager

Primary Job Purpose

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute maintenance procurement insights on supply-market developments, critical-source dependencies, cost trends and supplier risks.
• Identify category-level opportunities for standardization, localization, supplier consolidation, alternative sourcing and total-cost improvement.
• Develop the annual maintenance purchasing plan aligned with maintenance schedules, shutdown plans and preventive-maintenance requirements.
• Establish category and sourcing priorities based on spend, criticality, lead time, supplier availability and operational risk.
• Manage maintenance-related sourcing across equipment, spare parts, technical services and maintenance contracts.
• Develop and maintain a fit-for-purpose supplier base and lead supplier qualification from a commercial perspective.
• Lead negotiations on price, payment and credit terms, Incoterms, delivery schedules, warranties, service levels and other commercial conditions.
• Coordinate the commercial development, renewal and administration of maintenance contracts and framework agreements.
• Ensure maintenance purchasing complies with procurement policies, delegated authorities, SOPs, ISO, SASO, Saudi Customs and import controls.
• Oversee end-to-end procurement of maintenance equipment, spare parts and services supporting Poultry Processing Plants, Farms, Feed Mills and Hatcheries.
• Ensure timely procurement support for emergency breakdown, preventive maintenance and planned maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with Finance, Stores, Logistics, Customs and Quality to resolve purchase-order, receipt, invoice, payment and closure issues.

Desired (Preferred) Attributes

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• Postgraduate qualification in Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering Management or Business Administration is an advantage.
• CIPS, CPSM, CSCP or other recognized procurement/supply-chain certification is preferred.
• Relevant technical, contract-management or inventory/stock-management certification is an advantage.
• Approximately 5-10 years of progressive purchasing/procurement experience including maintenance, MRO, technical equipment, spare parts or service procurement.
• Experience in poultry processing plants, farms, feed mills, hatcheries, ventilation systems or automated processing environments.
• Strong practical knowledge of maintenance purchasing in industrial, manufacturing, food, poultry or similarly asset-intensive operations.
• Demonstrated experience in sourcing, commercial negotiation, supplier management, maintenance contracts, imported materials and purchase-to-pay processes.
• Working knowledge of procurement governance, Incoterms, import documentation and applicable Saudi requirements such as SASO and Customs.
• Experience using SAP or a comparable ERP/procurement system.
• Experience managing OEMs, authorized distributors and technically specialized service providers.
• Exposure to localization, supplier development, category management and procurement savings programs.

• Working hours: 40 per week.
