Role Description
This is a part-time, hybrid role based in Dubai, with a mix of on-site presence at properties and flexibility for some work-from-home activities.
The Maintenance Excellence Manager will lead the development and implementation of maintenance standards, processes, and performance metrics across assigned facilities and assets.
Daily responsibilities include analyzing equipment performance data, identifying root causes of recurring issues, and driving preventive and predictive maintenance plans to reduce downtime and extend asset life.
The role involves coordinating and guiding maintenance teams, reviewing work orders, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements, and optimizing maintenance schedules and spare parts usage.
The Maintenance Excellence Manager will also collaborate with operations, engineering, and vendors to implement best practices, support continuous improvement initiatives, and provide regular reports and recommendations to leadership.
Qualifications
- Strong Maintenance Management and Maintenance Excellence skills, including planning, prioritization, and continuous improvement of maintenance programs.
- Proficiency in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair, with a solid understanding of building systems, mechanical and electrical equipment, and asset lifecycle management.
- Experience implementing and monitoring Preventive Maintenance strategies, procedures, and schedules to enhance reliability and reduce unplanned downtime.
- Effective Supervisory Skills, with the ability to guide maintenance teams, coordinate contractors, and foster a safety-first, high-performance culture.
- Experience using CMMS or similar maintenance management software, including data analysis and KPI reporting.
- Knowledge of relevant health, safety, and regulatory standards in facilities and property management.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
- Relevant technical diploma or degree in engineering, facilities management, or a related field; professional certifications in maintenance or reliability are preferred.
- Previous experience in real estate, property, or large-scale infrastructure environments in the GCC region is highly beneficial.
