Maintenance Assistant

As part of our dedicated and compassionate team, you’ll play a key role in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. While this isn’t a direct care role, your work makes a real difference to the wellbeing of our residents and staff – creating a safe, comfortable, and homely environment for everyone.

Every day will be varied, drawing on your multi-skills to:

Carry out general maintenance, repairs, and DIY tasks.

Keep our sites safe, well-presented, and welcoming.

Tackle jobs from painting, decorating, and wallpapering through to plumbing (fixing leaks, changing taps) and putting up furniture.

Spot and report any issues that need attention and take action to put things right.

Work alongside a supportive team to make sure everything meets quality and safety

Practical, hands-on, and confident with general DIY.

Skilled across a mix of areas such as painting, decorating, carpentry, plumbing, or general repairs.

Organised and detail-focused, with the ability to prioritise tasks.

Happy to work independently but also a great team player.

Friendly, approachable, and motivated by making a positive difference.
