Logistics Team Leader

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate as an essential team member on operational tasks with flexibility and adaptability to daily assignments.
• Ensure warehouse SOPs including inbound and outbound processes, warehouse operations, and inventory management are followed correctly.
• Prepare and execute the daily operational plan accurately within agreed parameters.
• Oversee inventory, handle goods, and keep accurate warehouse records for stock control, storage, and timely distribution.
• Understand customer needs and build strong collaborative relationships internally and externally.
• Coordinate with planners, sales, and commercial operations to ensure timely order delivery.
• Prepare and provide delivery documentation such as route plans, delivery notes, invoices, RTV documents, Bayan, and Ajeer documents to drivers before departure.
• Receive documentation and address complaints or inquiries related to sales.
• Ensure department compliance with Arla Foods standards and policies and applicable local law.
• Ensure a healthy, inclusive, and safe working environment with a safety mindset.
• Ensure quality and food safety within own area of responsibility.
• Responsible for warehouse, machinery, material handling equipment, and truck maintenance.

Additional Duties

Educational Background and Experience

• Skilled education within logistics, warehousing, or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience handling goods, preferably food products.
• Basic understanding of machinery, equipment, and fleet used in the warehouse.
• Coordinate with relevant functions to keep timely maintenance of material handling equipment.
• English and IT skills at an intermediate level.
• Intermediate level in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, Outlook).
• Basic level of Power BI.
• Basic knowledge of AI.
• Intermediate level in SAP applications (EWM, ERP ECC, BW Report, RFUI).
