Job Summary
A Customer Service Representative (CSR) in Logistics / Shipping is responsible for handling customer communication, coordinating shipment activities, managing documentation, and ensuring smooth logistics operations.
The role requires strong coordination skills, customer handling abilities, and knowledge of import/export processes.
Key Responsibilities
· Handle customer queries through calls, emails, and other communication channels
· Coordinate with operations teams, shipping lines, agents, and transporters
· Track import/export shipments and provide timely status updates to customers
· Manage shipping documentation such as BL, invoices, delivery orders, and related documents
· Resolve customer concerns and maintain strong client relationships
· Maintain accurate records of shipments, customer interactions, and operations
· Ensure timely follow-up on shipment schedules and operational activities
· Coordinate internally to ensure smooth logistics and delivery processes
· Support daily logistics operations and customer service activities
· Ensure compliance with company processes and operational standards
Requirements & Skills
· Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
· 1–2 years of experience in Logistics, Shipping, or Freight Forwarding
· Knowledge of import/export procedures and shipping documentation
· Good English communication and customer handling skills
· Basic knowledge of MS Excel and email handling
· Strong coordination and problem-solving abilities
· Ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment
· Good organizational and multitasking skills
