Key Responsibilities
- Operate FLT equipment safely and efficiently. Move finished goods and materials across the site. Load and unload vehicles. Operate pallet wrapping and pallet exchange equipment. Carry out stock cycle counts and inventory checks. Maintain high standards of housekeeping and 5S workplace organisation. Follow health, safety, quality and hygiene requirements. Challenge unsafe practices and behaviours. Use the Warehouse Management System (WMS) for stock movements (training provided). Support problem-solving and continuous improvement activities. Undertake other duties as required.
Skills & Experience
- Essential GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English. FLT Counterbalance Licence. Experience within a warehouse, logistics or manufacturing environment. Understanding of health, safety, quality and hygiene standards. Knowledge of warehouse processes and stock control. Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs). Good communication and teamwork skills. Willingness to work a rotating shift pattern including days, nights and weekends. Desirable Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS). Knowledge of 5S workplace organisation. Problem-solving and continuous improvement experience.
