Logistics Head

Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end import and export operations across air, sea, and land shipments.
• Handle duty exemptions for import and export shipments and coordinate with customs authorities for priority processing.
• Ensure compliance with UAE customs regulations and international trade requirements.
• Manage MOFA linking, Dubai Municipality registrations, product approvals, and other regulatory requirements.
• Oversee preparation and review of all shipment documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, bills of lading, customs declarations, DG approvals, and export documents.
• Coordinate with government authorities, customs departments, chambers of commerce, and regulatory bodies for approvals, attestations, and certifications.
• Manage supplier, freight forwarder, shipping line, and transporter relationships.
• Ensure timely customs clearance and delivery of shipments to warehouse locations.
• Oversee export documentation for GCC and international markets, including regulatory and customer-specific requirements.
• Manage shipment costing, freight expense reviews, and logistics-related financial coordination.
• Ensure logistics data is accurately maintained within ERP systems.
• Monitor logistics KPIs, identify operational improvements, and implement cost-saving initiatives.
• Lead and develop the logistics team while ensuring high levels of service and compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of logistics, customs clearance, and supply chain experience within the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of customs procedures, import/export regulations, and government approvals.
• Experience working with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers, and regulatory authorities.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Fluency in both English and Hindi are mandatory.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
