Logistics Coordinator

Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor import and export shipments to ensure smooth and timely movement of goods.
• Handle duty exemption requests and support customs clearance activities.
• Manage MOFA linking for import shipments to facilitate timely clearance.
• Handle Dubai Municipality fragrance registrations and other product registration requirements.
• Coordinate with customs authorities, regulatory bodies, freight forwarders, suppliers, and transport providers.
• Prepare, review, and maintain shipment documentation including invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, bills of lading, customs declarations, and export documents.
• Track shipment progress and provide regular updates to internal stakeholders and customers.
• Ensure all mandatory shipment documents are accurate and submitted within required timelines.
• Coordinate inspection appointments and shipment release activities when required.
• Maintain accurate shipment records and update logistics systems, portals, and databases.
• Support export documentation requirements for GCC and international shipments.
• Assist with regulatory approvals, attestations, and compliance-related submissions.
• Follow up with suppliers and freight forwarders regarding shipment schedules, documentation, and freight quotations.
• Support logistics costing activities and maintain accurate operational records.
• Identify potential shipment delays and proactively coordinate corrective actions.
• Assist in improving logistics processes and maintaining high service levels.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in logistics, shipping, customs clearance, or supply chain operations.
• Knowledge of import/export documentation and customs procedures.
• Experience handling government portals and regulatory submissions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
• Fluency in both English and Hindi are mandatory.
• Strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
