The Logistics Coordinator supports coordination of deliveries, shipments, inventory movements, and transportation activities.
The role calls for organization and effective communication with suppliers, drivers, customers, and internal teams.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate transportation, deliveries, shipments, and related logistics activities.
- Track shipments and monitor delivery schedules to ensure timely completion.
- Prepare and maintain shipping documents, delivery records, and logistics reports.
- Communicate with drivers, suppliers, customers, and internal departments regarding deliveries.
- Assist with delivery delays, scheduling issues, and other logistics concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements, shipments, and transportation activities.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Logistics or supply chain education is preferred.
- Good organizational and time-management skills, strong communication and coordination abilities, and basic computer and spreadsheet skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Previous logistics, transportation, or coordination experience is preferred.
