Logistics Coordinator

Job Summary

Purchasing & Order Coordination

• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely procurement of materials and finished goods.
• Monitor purchase orders and follow up on production and shipment schedules.
• Track supplier performance and delivery commitments.
• Ensure purchasing activities align with business requirements and inventory plans.

Logistics & Supply Chain Management

• Manage inbound and outbound shipments, including imports and exports.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping companies, customs agents, and transportation providers.
• Ensure all shipments are delivered within agreed timelines and budgets.
• Monitor shipment status and proactively resolve delays or logistics issues.

Delivery & Timeline Management

• Maintain accurate delivery schedules and communicate updates to relevant departments.
• Ensure product launches and seasonal collections meet planned deadlines.
• Track critical milestones from order confirmation to warehouse receipt.
• Identify risks that may impact delivery timelines and implement corrective actions.

Inventory & Warehouse Coordination

• Coordinate stock transfers between warehouses, stores, and distribution centers.
• Monitor inventory movement and ensure inventory records are accurate.
• Work closely with warehouse teams to ensure timely receiving and dispatching of goods.
• Support stock reconciliation and inventory control processes.

Documentation & Compliance

• Prepare and maintain shipping documentation, invoices, packing lists, and customs-related documents.
• Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate logistics records and reports.
• Support audits and operational reviews when required.

Process Improvement

• Develop and maintain logistics SOPs and operational procedures.
• Identify opportunities to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce logistics costs.
• Monitor logistics KPIs and recommend process enhancements.
• Ensure all logistics procedures are aligned with business requirements and company standards.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Merchandising, Production, Finance, Warehouse, Retail, and E-commerce teams.
• Provide regular updates on shipment status, inventory availability, and delivery timelines.
• Support business growth through effective supply chain planning and execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, purchasing, or operations, preferably within the fashion, apparel, retail, or consumer goods industry.
• Strong understanding of shipping, freight, inventory management, and supply chain processes.
• Experience coordinating international shipments and customs documentation is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/Inventory Management Systems.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
