A construction company is hiring a Logistics Coordinator for logistics coordination, transportation, material handling, and construction site support.
The position is listed in the UAE and seeks an immediate joiner.
Compensation and benefits
- Salary is AED 4,000–6,000 per month.
- Benefits include an employment visa and medical insurance.
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant UAE logistics coordination experience; construction industry experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of construction materials, transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and relevant logistics or ERP systems.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to coordinate multiple deliveries and meet project deadlines.
- Candidates currently in the UAE with relevant experience are preferred.
Duties and responsibilities
- Coordinate transportation and delivery of construction materials, equipment, and supplies to project sites.
- Plan and monitor daily logistics activities for timely delivery; coordinate with suppliers, transport companies, warehouse teams, and site supervisors.
- Maintain delivery, dispatch, inventory, and transportation schedule records; monitor stock and coordinate material requests.
- Arrange vehicle schedules and routes, track shipments, and resolve delays or delivery issues.
- Ensure delivery documentation is complete, including purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices.
- Monitor expenses, improve operational efficiency, follow procedures and safety requirements, and comply with applicable UAE regulations.
- Prepare logistics reports and update management on delivery schedules and outstanding issues.
