Duties and responsibilities
- Coordinate mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, drainage, firefighting, and fire alarm systems across projects.
- Review and coordinate MEP shop drawings, builders’ work drawings, and service layouts with consultants and contractors.
- Identify and resolve clashes between MEP services, architectural layouts, and structural elements.
- Monitor site installation for compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.
- Coordinate ceiling layouts, lighting fixtures, HVAC diffusers, sprinkler heads, and access panels with interior finishes.
- Monitor progress, prepare reports, and support project deadlines.
- Coordinate material submittals, technical documentation, inspections, testing, commissioning, snagging, and handover.
- Maintain site records, as-built drawings, and project documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in mechanical or electrical engineering, or a related field.
- 7–10 years of relevant experience, including substantial UAE experience in MEP coordination.
- Construction and interior fit-out project experience is essential.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and MS Office.
- Strong technical knowledge, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to coordinate with consultants, contractors, and site teams.
- Must be available for immediate joining.
