Logistics Assistant
About This Role
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Shipment Coordination: Organize, track, and monitor incoming and outgoing shipments, including coordinating with freight forwarders and transporters.
- Inventory Control: Receive, inspect, and store goods accurately, updating inventory data in management systems.
- Documentation & Administration: Prepare, verify, and maintain essential shipping documents such as invoices, packing lists, and Air Waybills (AWB).
- Supplier/Client Liaison: Serve as a point of contact for vendors and customers to address shipment issues and ensure satisfaction.
- Process Optimization: Assist in warehouse space utilization and process improvements to reduce costs and lead times.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: Prior experience in warehousing, inventory, or logistics is usually required.
- Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and pay high attention to detail.
- Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of inventory management systems
- Communication: Effective communication skills
