Responsibilities
- Comply with UAE traffic rules and report health and safety hazards to the immediate supervisor.
- Assist with driving tests for new vehicles.
- Ensure vehicles are loaded correctly to prevent shifting loads and imbalance.
- Choose practical routes and driving sequences to reduce time and improve efficiency and fuel consumption.
- Maintain accurate daily trip sheets and provide required data to the operations assistant.
- Deliver and return processed items and linens to customers according to schedules and ad hoc requests.
- Keep the vehicle clean to help maintain fleet condition and prevent linen contamination.
- Interact politely and professionally with internal and external customers.
Qualifications and experience
- High school certificate.
- UAE licence for light-duty vehicles; this is mandatory.
- Two years of driving experience on UAE roads.
- Good communication skills.
