Oversee and coordinate lifting operations on construction sites in compliance with UAE safety regulations and project requirements.
The role manages crane operators, riggers, and lifting teams.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate lifting activities on site.
- Ensure operations follow approved lifting plans and risk assessments.
- Inspect lifting equipment, accessories, and tools before use.
- Verify load weights, crane capacity, and safe lifting angles.
- Coordinate communication with crane operators, riggers, and signalmen.
- Ensure compliance with UAE HSE standards, company policies, and site procedures.
- Stop unsafe operations and report hazards immediately.
- Maintain daily lifting logs, checklists, and inspection records.
- Participate in toolbox talks and safety briefings.
- Coordinate with site engineers and the HSE team for critical lifts.
Requirements
- Valid UAE Lifting Supervisor Certificate, TUV or third-party approved.
- Minimum 3–5 years of lifting operations experience.
- Strong knowledge of cranes, lifting accessories, load charts, and rigging practices.
- High-rise or heavy construction project experience is preferred.
- Able to read and understand lifting plans.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors on site.
Pay and benefits
- Pay is AED 3,000–6,000 per month.
- Company accommodation and transportation may be provided, if applicable.
- Medical insurance is provided as per company policy.
- Overtime is as per UAE Labour Law.
