Experience and technical requirements
- At least eight years of rigging and lifting operations experience on heavy industrial or power plant projects.
- Experience with crane erection and heavy equipment lifting at power plant facilities.
- Ability to supervise and direct rigging crews during lifting and crane erection operations.
- Strong knowledge of lift plans, load calculations, and risk assessments for critical and complex lifts.
- Proficiency inspecting slings, shackles, hooks, and other rigging accessories.
- Familiarity with permit-to-work systems on industrial sites.
- Compliance with LEEA / LOLER standards.
Mandatory certification
- A LEEA, TUV, or Bureau Veritas Lifting/Rigging Supervisor Third Party Certificate is mandatory.
- A minimum five-day training certificate alone will not be accepted.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and direct rigging crews during lifting and crane erection operations.
- Oversee heavy equipment lifting and crane erection at power plant facilities.
- Assess and plan critical and complex lifts and inspect lifting gear.
